First couple of finals for a short comic I'm work on with Mr James Reith.  Really nice working with a limited palette and line work, and also super cool to see my handwriting in a font! Big shout out to  http://www.myscriptfont.com/ which is unbelievably easy to use and looks great too. 

Todays little line drawing colouring in practise thing. Really enjoying getting to grips with my work on screen. Finally happy with it after scanning and colouring!  (Super inspired by WJC and his fucking gorgeous line-art. Phwoar)

A more recent project now, getting geared up for the Brazil World Cup. A selection of typography projects for the Fleur de Lys in Easy Hagbourne. Table numbers for the sunny pub garden, and a nice little quote for the beam.  "I drink to make other people more interesting" - Hemingway

Another simple animation. This ones for the progress in scientific study which means organs can be kept alive for 24 hours independently. Very clever! 

So just before he got sold (literally, like minutes before) I finished this piece for The Illustrated Game.  Enjoy! 

A classic moment in time, for the guys and gals over at The Illustrated Game.  I really can't ask for better requests than this one. What a treat! In other, similar news. Here is the start of a new project. Featuring, would you believe it - the same Eric. And finally, only the other day when my Dad told me, did I realise that this was him too...

Some more work for the top guys over at The Illustrated Game. Check out there podcast and everything, they're awesome! And the start of a series of images depicting classic celebrations. An obvious place to start, is one of my favourites. Such a confident celebration, it's beautiful.

Serco illustration prize entry. Focussing on the random acts of kindness that happen across the capital, I'm trying to focus on more positive aspects of life - there's a lot of negativity about London and the people there sometimes... but there's some good there!

We're only bloody going to the World Cup!  This piece is inspired by my surprise at anyone who has said anything negative about England coming top of their group, and qualifying for the World Cup finals in Brazil. 

A little typographical birthday card.  I also found a picture of some I did exactly a year ago, for two of my bestest friends that have the exact same birthday!  Talking of typography, I've been doing a bit of sign-writing recently too! These are for some events at the Fleur de Lys in Hagbourne. Lovely little place, and that's where I'm working at the minute too!  Finally, and most excitingly, here's a peek at what I'm working on at the minute. Not much so far, but more to come! I've come a bit of a way since this... Though I think you'll all agree, it's charmingly naive. 

Time for a little update on here then I suppose. Most excitingly, I'm becoming a relatively regular addition to the team at The Illustrated Game - a great football blog which shows off illustration talent alongside it's humourously written articles! Definitely worth checking out if you're a football fan, and they have a great weekly podcast too. The second thing I've done for them is this picture of the new talismanic midfielder, Mesut Ozill, who has arrived in the Premier League probably to terrorise other clubs. Fingers crossed he's not THAT good eh... Here's the first thing I did for them last season if any of you missed it! Pre Suarez-gate, the blossoming bromance of Luis and Danny. Awkwardly there now seems to be a little love triangle with the little guy Coutiniho, but we'll save that for another time maybe... In other news, I'm also working on some graphic novel-y illustrations for a novel my bestest buddy is working on. Not a ...
