Holiday snaps from our nice little few days away in Falmouth, my new home for the next 3 years. I'm so excited about going down there, it's wicked and definitely inspiring!

Yesterday's car trip.

Decided it'd be wicked to have a pack of cards I'd made myself, heres the start of the front...

I decided to use an actual book as a sketchbook to add a bit of texture. These first lot of sketches are mostly from the train station and on a train. I know this makes me seem like a trainspotter, but I can assure you I'm not.

Today I decided to make my own deck of playing cards. I have started by making a lino print for the back of the cards, as it will need to be repeated. It contains my favourite card games...

Tidying my room I came across these in a drawer. Look how old the boots logo is! And these wicked old, weathered cards. Bang tidy.

I think I'm compensating for my impending inherited baldness by drawing a lot of hair recently

Just proof that that thing with tissue paper and water that I remember from Art Attack definitely works. I will embrace this.
