The Prisoner - Illustrations

A series of illustrations for the novel The Prisoner by Thomas M. Disch. The whole novel is full of un-named characters, identity struggles and ambiguity which is mirrored here by shadows and unseen faces - as well as visual ambiguity.

This project is inspired by the Folio Society, who produce stunning illustrated novels.

There is also a very subtle visual code running throughout the illustrations. VERY subtle, I warn you!
